2018: Year of Illumination

Rina Cupples

WOW! 2018. 2 + 0 + 1 + 8 = 11. Symbolically, the number 11 represents Illumination. Wondering what might become illumined in the coming year? I am. Buried secrets coming to light, perhaps, or a medical discovery of a cure for an illness, found in a common plant, or a new, inexpensive way to use energy of the sun, or energy of the ocean waves. Miracles on planet Earth.

And what about our own personal Illumination? We could uncover new possibilities for ourselves, such as learning how to use Reiki energy. It has been beneficial in my own healing and for me to help the ones I love.

I like to use Reiki for my dog. He always seems to appreciate getting some. I give it to myself every day, because I really enjoy being healthy, and I am heartily grateful for that blessing. Reiki can be that illuminating factor in your life, too.

The energy that some call Reiki is a peaceful vibration. It brings a feeling of inner tranquility to my brain’s flurry of “I HAVE to do this, and that.” With peaceful mind comes Willingness to allow That Which Is Greater than me to take charge of my life and guide me in better ways to go about my business.

If you are interested in taking Reiki training, there are classes being offered here in Sun Lakes.

Rina Cupples has a Level I class planned for Saturday and Sunday, January 27 and 28, from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Illuminate your life in a new way. Contact Rina at 480-883-7747 for details.

And Lois Valleau has a Reiki I class scheduled for Wednesday, Thursday and Friday, February 7, 8 and 9, from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. each day. Contact Lois at 480-883-6699.

If you would like to experience a brief Reiki session, everyone is welcome to come to the Reiki Circle. Every Tuesday at 9:30 a.m. the Reiki Circle meets in the Cottonwood Courtyard, Room A-2. There’s no fee. Come in, relax and feel refreshed.
