Back by popular demand, Sun Lakes Community Theatre will present another new production of An Evening of Old Time Radio, directed by Roger Edmonds.

Roger uses his talents to bring you an all-new summer production of three of your favorite old radio comedies! These are the “best of the best,” the ones we loved listening to! Enjoy being in the audience as you are taken back to the “Golden Age of Radio” featuring The Bickersons, Fibber McGee and Molly and The Fred Allan Show, plus an appearance by special guest star Jack Benny!

And this show will be performed live on the stage at Cottonwood! Watch and listen as the program’s radio announcer sets the stage for the action! Watch the humorous stories, jokes and comic adventures (and mis-adventures) materialize before your eyes, as portrayed by your own Sun Lakes Community Theatre actors. Have fun seeing how “live sounds effects” are created and how the unique commercials are brought to life through the many voices of the radio actors.
