The Apple Users Group of Sun Lakes will meet on Monday, December 8 in the Bradford room of Oakwood Country Club at 6:30 p.m. If you have a Mac, iPod, iPad, iPhone or Apple TV, are new to Apple products or a seasoned Mac user, this is the club for you. In concert with Apple’s new direction of integrated products that all play together, the Apple Users Group of Sun Lakes will focus on iPods, iPhones, iPads, Macs and their operating systems.

AUGSL President Fred Carden will conduct a question and answer session for new users of iPads, iPhones and Macs at 6:30 p.m.

This month will feature presentations by students and faculty of the Hamilton High School computer program. Individual student computer projects and the school’s state of the art computer laboratories will be highlighted. The meeting is open to all and the presentation will be at 7:30 p.m.

Due to the popularity of and demand for information and tutorials, Apple Special Interest Groups (SIGs) for Digital Photography, iPhoto, iPhones, iPods, iPads and Macs, as well as their operating systems, will meet on the second Thursday of each month in the Bradford Room.

The Digital Photography and Camera SIG will meet on Thursday, December 11 in the Bradford room from 1:00-2:00 p.m. Members are reminded to bring their digital photos, slide shows and videos for viewing. Discussions will include advances in digital photography, how to take better photos, iPhoto and Photoshop Elements. Members are reminded to send in their favorite digital photos to President Fred Carden at [email protected] for publication in the newsletter.

The iPhone, iPad and iPod SIG will meet on Thursday, December 11 in the Bradford Room from 2:00-3:00 p.m. If you’re thinking of buying one of these great Apple products or getting a new app don’t miss this opportunity to learn more about them and what they can do.

The Mac OS SIG discussion of how the Mac operating system works will be held Thursday, December 11 in the Bradford Room of the Oakwood Country Club from 3:00-4:00 p.m. OS X 10.9 has many new features.
