Bring the family and come have lunch with your local Sun Lakes firemen and support the Firemen’s Relief Fund. Enjoy beautiful works of art! No admission fee!

Art at the Lakes Show and Sale will be held on Saturday, March 7 from 9:00 a.m.-2:00 p.m. The art show is a community outreach sponsored by artists and firemen in Sun Lakes (rain date will be March 14) around beautiful Cottonwood Lake on Brentwood Drive in Sun Lakes across from the Cottonwood Country Club and tennis courts. There will be over 75 artists displaying and selling their art, artists doing demonstrations, children’s creative activity table, food, music and a raffle.

The show is a philanthropic event to benefit for the Sun Lakes Firefighters’ Emergency Relief Fund (SLERF) and the 100 Club of Arizona (www.100club.org). SLERF and the 100 Club not only help first responders and their families, but also anyone who needs assistance after an accident or fire. The monies generated from the show go to the Firemen’s Relief Fund to assist local residents and surrounding communities with electric bills, prescriptions, financial problems, clean up homes, pay for eyeglasses damaged in accidents and support local charities and many more causes.

The raffle table will include, but is not limited to, artistic items, gift baskets, gift certificates and dinners out. Some of the gift baskets still needing donations are theme items such as All Things Irish, Handmade Porcelain Doll, Pampered Lady, Golf, and Sports Team Treasures. At the raffle table you will find many outstanding baskets donated by businesses throughout the Valley including our professional sports teams.

A group of talented musicians from Sun Lakes, the Dry Heat Pickers, will be at the show playing bluegrass, country and many popular tunes.
