Boost your immune system naturally with essential oils

JoAnne Gaudioso

Autumn is here, and with it comes thoughts of how we can best prepare for flu season and the many bugs, sore throats, colds and viruses that will be a threat to us. It is important for us to maintain a healthy immune system. First and foremost, it is important for us to follow a healthy diet, supported by the proper supplements similar to these immune system supplements and a good probiotic. Treating our body properly will protect us against environmental threats.

When you are starting out with essential oils, the potential impact they could have on your overall health and wellness is exciting. The options can sometimes feel endless and overwhelming. Another complicating factor is that everyone’s body is unique, and it is important to try out various oils to find what is most effective for you.

There are many essential oils that offer a boost to our immune system. Remember that most oils can be applied aromatically, topically or internally.

On Guard: This is actually a blend of Clove Bud, Cinnamon Bark oil, Wild Orange Peel, Eucalyptus and Rosemary. It provides a natural and effective alternative for immune support.

Eucalyptus: Eucalyptus is recommended to protect the body from a wide variety of bacterial infections. If your immune system is compromised by another illness or as a result of an injury or fatigue, eucalyptus can act as a natural booster for your immunity.

Rosemary: The active components in rosemary are antioxidant, anti-inflammatory and anti-carcinogenic in nature. This represents a three-pronged attack against many different diseases and pathogens that could threaten the immune system or damage the integrity of the body.

These are only three oils amongst the many that can boost your immune system. Come join me in an Essential Oil Workshop where we will discuss the various oils and essential oil products that will help to keep you naturally healthy one drop at a time. We will discuss important steps you can take to maintain a healthy immune system. And we will make an immune support blend that you can take home with you.

My workshops this month are scheduled for Saturday, October 13, at 11:00 a.m.; Saturday, October 20, at 11:00 a.m. and Saturday, October 27, at 11:00 a.m. If these are not convenient, please call me to set up a time convenient for you.
