Finding joy and meaning while caring for an individual with dementia is difficult, especially during the holiday season. Learn tips and tools from DementiaWise and the Alzheimer’s Association at a free workshop on November 3 from 9:30-10:30 a.m. at Sun Lakes United Methodist Church. Facilitator Mark Young, MPA, has worked with the Alzheimer’s Association for almost five years as an educator and facilitator of one of the largest caregiver and early stage Alzheimer’s groups in the Valley Young was a presenter to medical professionals at the annual Alzheimer’s Association Education Conference in March. He is the owner of ComForCare and facilitates a free Alzheimer’s support group twice a month at Sun Lakes United Methodist Church.
