Join us for our celebration of Ash Wednesday on Wednesday, February 14, at 8:00 a.m. and the Lenten season on Sunday, February 18 at our 11:15 a.m. worship service. Our Lenten theme is Journey to the Cross. Lent is about transformation and change. Richard Rohr comments: Jesus is much more concerned about shaking your foundations, giving you an utterly alternative self-image, world image and God image and, thus, reframing your entire reality. The Hebrew/Old Testament scriptures focus on various ideas of covenant, while the Gospel texts will focus on the challenges of responding to Jesus’ call to conversion and change of perspective.

Our chancel choir will offer special music, under the directorship of our very talented Erica Glenn, who is a doctoral student at Arizona State University. We worship at 11:15 a.m. in the Sun Lakes Chapel located at 9240 E. Sun Lakes Blvd N. For more information, call 480-895-6317.
