Cheers members filled the trolley car at Oakwood Country Club the evening of December 16 to enjoy a pleasant ride featuring the neighborhoods in Chandler and Mesa to view the beautiful lighting of many homes that showed the spirit of Christmas in their beautiful decorations. Soon after we sat down in the trolley and got settled down what should appear but goodies from Santa’s helpers who baked all day so we could have a little spirit along with the lights. This continued throughout the evening – thanks to all who shared the cookies and sweets with us. Our last stop was at the Mormon Temple to view the beautiful lights and nativity scenes before heading back home. What a nice way to start the holiday season!

Cheers Singles is open to all singles living in Sun Lakes, Springfield and SunBird. Weekly socials are held at 4:00 p.m. in the lounge at Oakwood Country Club every Thursday and give you the opportunity to meet us and find out more about this active fun group. Membership dues are $20 for the year; visit the welcome table in the lounge and meet some really nice folks!

Small groups and large events are held throughout the year at Cheers. Birthday parties, day trips, book club, Hand and Foot events and many more! Come join us and enjoy our friendship. Make one friend or many!
