After completing another successful year with the Chordaires Chorus of Sun Lakes, the singers get to relax. During the summer, many of the women meet on a regular basis for lunch and some card playing in the afternoon. Sharing life stories and becoming friends enriches their lives, and many Chordaires actually have said that singing with these amazing women has given them purpose in their own life. Future summer activities include an ice cream social and a wine and cheese party. Yes, not only can they sing, but they know how to have fun too.

Rehearsals begin in October for the Christmas holiday music for their performances around Chandler and Sun Lakes. Once again, Chordaires will be doing a Christmas concert on Sunday, December 10, which will be open to the public. In January, their attention turns to their 38th annual Spring Show with the theme of vacationing USA; the show will be performed on Saturday, April 7, at the San Tan Ballroom in Cottonwood.

Chordaires encourage women who are interested in singing to come and join them. Come for the music, come for the friendship, come for the fun. For more information, you may contact Chris at 480-786-6969.
