Happy New Year to all our DAC members. We fondly remember when our club had a great turnout for our Share Your Art event last January. It is with great hope and determination that when we are able to gather again safely, we will be having another art event and a special renewal social gathering sometime in 2021.

As we hold on to that hope, we, as artists, can create the beauty of winter that we see all around us. Our winter flowers and migrating feathered friends bring us joy as they show themselves in all their glory. Remember to look and see what nature is showing us as we go for our walks, take a bike ride, or are out for a scenic drive. The Veterans Oasis Park (4050 E. Chandler Heights Road, just east of Lindsey, Chandler, AZ 85249) has beautiful walking paths around lakes with many areas to paint or sketch, a beautiful gift to any nature lover and artists alike. Our club met at the park for Plein Air painting often in the past. So, avail yourself of what is here and now; opportunities to immerse yourselves in our beautiful world. It will inspire your artistic creativity.
