Health is truly a matter of choice. That means every little choice we make concerning the food we put into our body matters. In today’s toxic food environment, it matters more than ever. Good nutrition improves wellbeing and improves one’s health. Understanding the basis of good health is necessary to begin taking good care of ourselves.

Most of us know that good nutrition and exercise are essential for good health, yet many of us struggle to understand the fundamental building blocks of nutrition. The right foods help our bodies build and repair tissue and decrease inflammation, which protect us from malnutrition, illnesses like the flu and diseases like cancer or autoimmune disorders. The right foods are the fuel that gives us the necessary energy to go about our day.

Will we benefit from good choices? Would you like to have more energy, reduced risk of disease, improved mood, improved skin, reduced weight and longer life? Learning to make the right choices and having the support to make those choices is a great beginning toward improving your health. It’s the best gift we can give ourselves! Summer is a great time to begin. Join us and take charge of your health. Fit and Fun Health and Wellness Group is an informal, positive group of women making lifestyle changes together. We offer educational information, support, encouragement, reinforcement and good times.
