Visit the Friends Bookstore for bargains

Friends of the Library are excited to announce that the Friends Bookstore will be open for business on Monday, August 5. The bookstore is located in the southeast corner of the Robson Library — look for the blue Friends Bookstore sign. The bookstore is open the same hours as the library. Volunteers will be at the bookstore at limited times to help with donations and sales. Most books, including paperbacks and hardbacks, cost 25 cents. Special books, such as recently-published or popular books, will be priced at $1.00. Please bring dollar bills and coins, as neither the library staff nor the bookstore volunteers are able to provide change at this time.

Friends of the Library is taking donations of books for the bookstore. Due to lack of space, we will not be able to display as many books and materials as we have in the past. We are asking that donations be limited by the following guidelines:

Please donate books and materials in the following categories: fiction, mystery, romance, biography, literature, health, history, religion, large print, cookbooks and jigsaw puzzles.

Do not donate books and other material in these categories: Books on politics, travel, reference and science fiction, textbooks and materials such as magazines, calendars, CDs, DVDs, VHS tapes and audio cassettes.

Please visit us at our new location. Bring in your donations and purchase used books at greatly-reduced prices!
