The Sun Lakes Garden Club is proud to be able to recently gift the Sun Lakes Chapel Center with a flat-screen TV, installed in the Center for use by the Chapel community and the Garden Club.

The Chapel Center board was pleased to accept this donation from the Garden Club. The flat-screen TV was dedicated at the November 20 Garden Club meeting, and Bill Townsend, Chapel Board President, was on hand to thank the board members and members-at-large.

The Sun Lakes Garden Club has always given back to the community. They donated to Neighbors Who Care in 2015 and 2016. In 2017, they completed a re-landscaping project adding boulders, brick borders, new plants and fresh granite to the garden in front of the Chapel Center.

This is a gift that will benefit the entire community. The Chapel Center is part of the Sun Lakes All Faith Chapel, located at 9240 Sun Lakes Blvd. The Chapel Center is available for rentals and is often used for wedding receptions, club meetings and fellowship and refreshments after memorial services, at which time video montages of loved ones are often shown. There is consideration of a movie and popcorn night as well as other community events for which this gift might be used.
