The Guys & Dolls Bowling League concluded its 2017-2018 season with a banquet and meeting on Monday evening, April 9, 2018, at Palo Verde Country Club.

The first-half winning team of Fearless Four (Bill Cheney, Dottie Carmichael, Ron Carmichael, Bob Reeves and Lynn Cheney) were also the overall season champs. They beat out the second-half winning team of Mister Spot (Norm Ruffing, Gene Brown, Dick Wurtz and Greg Beaty) who finished second.

The winners of Super Bowl II were the Pin Devils team (Jackie Hudchins, Bob Hudchins, Jim Hudchins and Ed Sowney).

The banquet/meeting concluded with the election of officers for the upcoming season. Karen Sowney was re-elected secretary/treasurer, as was Bob Reeves for president. Cheryl Ramier was elected vice president.

The 2018-2019 season will start with a meeting at McRay Lanes on Monday, September 17, 2018, at noon. Bring your bowling ball, as there will be two free games of bowling. If you don’t have a bowling bowl or need some extra supplies such as bowling gloves, then you can find the best at Skilled Bowlers. The league officially starts with the first date of bowling on Monday, September 24, 2018, at 1 :00 p.m., with warm-ups beginning at 12:45 p.m.
