Noell Hyman

Kary Sinkule began teaching yoga at the Cottonwood Palo Verde Country Club in April, 2016, with a focus on healing and rehabilitation. Her students wanted more. To meet the demand, this past summer, Kary brought in a team of teachers who share her goals. We have spent the last few months establishing a schedule of classes (see the schedule below). Today, we introduce you to each teacher.

Brianne

I was first drawn to yoga after completing my MA in counseling while looking for a holistic approach to healing: mind, body, spirit. I love teaching at Sun Lakes and getting to know all the people taking yoga classes.

Vanessa (substitute)

I love to teach at Sun Lakes because the people are so warm and appreciative; I admire their interest for yoga and health and wellness overall. Yoga to me is also joy, and I can see and feel the joy in students’ hearts and faces once they improve mobility, flexibility and patience through yoga!

Chris

Teaching yoga to active seniors at Sun Lakes seemed to be a calling for me to serve others in my surrounding community, and it is a great honor. I’ve enjoyed motivating some fantastic individuals around the Sun Lakes area who are working hard to get healthy and to be in shape, and it’s been a pleasure to assist this community’s training needs.

Noell

Because yoga saved me from the chronic pain of injured nerves, a hyper-extended spine and shallow breathing, I am on a mission to bring yoga’s healing and joyful benefits to others. I am thrilled by all the yoga students at Sun Lakes who regularly tell me they’re already moving better, walking more easily and feeling stronger.

Kary

I have dedicated three decades to helping people with their health and wellness goals, and that has led me to find a true passion for yoga. I love applying my experience and knowledge to help the residents at Sun Lakes have a better quality of life by utilizing all the healing benefits that yoga movement and breath can bring.

Cindy

One of the goals that I have had for my life is spreading joy and making people smile. Teaching yoga allows me to nurture, helping people help themselves through movement, and form community.
