Join AAUW Members to Support the National “Get Out the Vote” Effort

Barbara Stewart

To support the national “Get Out the Vote” effort by Vote Forward (votefwd.org), Judy Baur, Oakwood resident and lead of our SE Valley AAUW Branch History Lovers group, invited group members to write postcards that will be sent to registered voters who did not participate in the 2016 election. The script is provided, simple, and reminds the recipient of the importance of the upcoming Nov. 3 election and, most importantly, asks them to be sure to vote. This national effort has committed to writing 10 million voter turnout reminders for the 2020 election.

If you would like to participate in this American Association of University Women’s (AAUW) effort in the “Get Out the Vote” from the safety and comfort of your home, please contact us at [email protected].
