The R Countryman Chapter of the Korean War/Korea Service Veterans will meet on Tuesday, September 27 in the Friendship Room of the Sun Lakes Country Club at 10:00 a.m. KWVA is proud to welcome Denis White, Club President of the Sun Lakes Member Assistance Club, or MAC, previously known as MAP. Mr. White is a Vietnam era veteran who graduated with his Master’s in Business Administration from Grand Valley State College in Michigan. He retired from a successful career in Safety and Risk Management and has been instrumental in the early formation of this amazing club.

Denis noticed a need for many Sun Lakes residents within HOA No. One who might be struggling with the aging process. Whether it be a ride to/from activities, help with understanding what services are available in the community, or simply a wish for a friendly visit, Denis felt who better to help than your neighbors!

Please come listen to Denis explain how MAC might be able to help you, your friend, or neighbor. Although MAC currently provides assistance only to those living in HOA No. One, MAC volunteers can come from anywhere! Help us spread the word!

All veterans and their guests are welcome. You can learn more about us on our website at www.kwvacc.org or contact Jay Sanderson, Commander, at 480-895-2950.

And remember, “Freedom is NOT free.”
