The Lucky Shot Pool Club welcomed five new members and one returning member as play began in its 2014-15 tournament season.

New members are Steve Colby, Cliff Vinje, Richard Wilhelm, David Heath and Neil Winters. Rod Thompson renewed his membership after an absence of several years.

The fall tournament started November 1 and will run through December 10. The club also offers competition in a winter tournament January 1-February 10 and a spring tournament March 1-April 10.

The regular season ends with an awards gathering in late April. Two summer tournaments are scheduled from June 1-July 10 and August 1-September 10.

The Lucky Shot Pool Club is the only pool club in the Sun Lakes community open to all Sun Lakes residents. Memberships are available for play in the remaining 2014-15 tournaments. For additional information contact Mike Giarlo at 272-1500 or Gary Vacin at 298-7017.
