The Phoenix Pulaski Club held their 75th anniversary on October 4 at their own club. The hall was decorated in red and white (these are Polish colors) table decorations with white streamers with three tier crystal chandelier hanging from the ceiling. The colors are to keep the tradition alive and what we stand for.

The hall was decorated by Chairperson Kaz Tysiac with her committee; they did a beautiful job. We had over 200 people to help celebrate the 75th anniversary.

This was an evening to remember. The women wore their beautiful evening wear and the men wore their suits and ties and some wore their tuxedos.

Awards were given to Sun Lakes residents Dennis and Rose Pachura by Councilman Michael Nowakowski for their continued support and longtime services with the Pulaski Club and continuing the Polish traditions. There were other members that were awarded for their dedication of service.

Councilman Michael Nowakowski mentioned, “We admire your dedication and commitment to the community and thank you for all you do.”

Polish Proverb: “With unity there is strength” In Polish, “Gdzie zgoda tam I sifa.”

The Pulaski Club holds dances each month with the kitchen open to serve you, except in June, July and August when we are closed. We reopen in September.
