Our last summer league was held at Sun Lakes Golf Club and a very pleasant and challenging day was enjoyed by all. The weather was great; we gobbled down those special hot dogs after our game.

The select a drive play was held on September 13, results follow: 1st team winners were Ann Hammond, Noella Bannister, Diana De Pree and Helen Saxton, in 2nd place the team of Donna Purcell, Gwen Curtis, Ginger Henry and Jan Bazzill, 3rd place was the team of Sharon Claude, Rose Hames, Delores Mahaffey and Carol Elliot

A scramble and luncheon was held on September 20, the winning team was Jo Crook, Valerie Verbeck. Ginger Henry and Lois Fitzsimmons, 2nd place the team of Carol Guild, Karen Bailey, Diana De Pree and Joan Timberlake, 3rd was the team of Bonnie Moore, Jan Stuckey, Pat Kreilling, and Linda Gorman

The last game of the month played on September 27 was a step-a-side scramble. The 1st place team winners were Mary Nelson, Nelda Machutas, Noella Bannister and Judy Dingeldine, in 2nd place the team of Mary Fitzke, Susan Lamb, Camille Jasien and Rita Raymond, the 3rd place winners were Jo Crook, Jan Nelson, Carol Elliott and Janet Baron

Because of your participation in the past, our cancer fundraisers have been a huge success. We are one of the largest group donors to the U of A cancer organization. Our fundraiser will be held in November as usual. See you all there!
