This month started out on November 14 with a Select-A-Drive, Two Net Best Balls format. The winning team in the morning with a score of 84, was Dave Florence, Tony Sims, Gene Vogt and Gary Zahnow. The afternoon team with a 94 was John Lamb, Jim Wedeward, Irv Jacob and Blind Draw.
On November 21, we played our annual Turkey Shoot with Three Net Best Balls format. The morning winning team with a score of 167 consisted of Mylon Racine, Dave Clark, Bob Timms and Paul Hester. The afternoon group with a 178 was a three-man team of Ken Pearson, Jack Hall and Mike Swoverland.
On the November 28 we played a team Stableford format. The 1st place team, in the morning with an 86 were Bob Mansfield, Gene Wenger, Joe Lombardo and Jeff Martin. The afternoon winners with an 88 were Frank Broley, Jim Wedeward, Dan Eisenzimmer and Marty Martin.
On December 5 we played a Two Man Alternate Shot format, flighted. The 1st place Flight 1 winners with a score of 60-1/2 was John Kane and Fill Fitzke; Flight 2 with a 59 was Al Baumgartner and Bob Eliott. There was no afternoon group as this was the day of our annual Christmas party. Fun was had by all along with another great month in golf.
Our January schedule starts out with a Morning/Afternoon One Gross Plus One Net (Ace of Aces qualifier) on the 2nd. On January 9 morning we will have a Member/Member, Select-A-Drive, One Best Ball format with lunch and meeting. In the afternoon we will have a One Gross Plus One Net format. On the 16th we will be playing the second half of our Home and Home with Sun Lakes Country Club which starts Thursday, January 14 at SLCC. The afternoon group will be playing a Three Net Best Balls format. On January 23 the morning group will be playing the Presidents Cup Round No. 1 and the afternoon group will be playing a Select-A-Drive, Two Best Balls Net format.
On the 30th, the morning group will be playing Round No. 2 of the Presidents Cup with refreshments afterward and the afternoon group will be playing a Two Best Balls Net format.
