Risen Savior Community Christmas Concert set for December 16

Sunday, Dec. 16th

2:30 pm & 4:30 pm

If you attended one of the two standing-room-only performances last year, you know that this was not your average Christmas Concert. Instead, it was a fun-filled, hour-long celebration of Christmas highlighted by solo performances from a gifted cast of musicians, who also accompanied the audiences in singing popular Christmas songs throughout the concert.

This year’s featured performers will include renowned trumpet soloist and international recording artist, Timothy Moke who will be joined by concert trumpeters Chuck Deuth and Derek Reaban along with symphonic woodwind soloist, Kristen Zehnder. Also performing will be the Risen Savior Concert Choir, Hand Bells, and Worship Band.

The admission fee is a donation of two cans of food per adult, which enables us all to share God’s blessings by providing needed food assistance to many of our less fortunate neighbors during the holiday. Last year’s audiences donated almost a ton of food to the Chandler Food Bank.

Our Master of Ceremonies (aka Senior Pastor Ron Burcham), promises that he will, once again, set the mood to be light-hearted and filled with laughter … combined, of course, with special moments recalling cherished memories of Christmas’ past. He commented, “I am extremely grateful to the professional musicians and many volunteers who are working hard to create this wonderful Christmas event. If you appreciate professionally performed Christmas music, enjoy singing Christmas Carols, and would like to have a good time celebrating this Christmas season, don’t miss our Community Christmas Concert!”
