Join us for the last meeting of the season until October on May 11 at 6:30 p.m. in the Phoenix Room. Van Newville will be our guest speaker. Van teaches at NAIL and knows this state inside and out. His topic will be “Arizona Indian Adventures: Navajo and Hopi Highlights.” He is planning to cover some of these interesting areas: Canyon de Chelly, Window Rock, Tuba City (home of Van Trading Post), Monument Valley, Four Corners in Navajoland, Old Oraibi, the Mesas and Hopi Cultural Center.

We will have refreshments, information on summer getaways with Free Spirit and miscellaneous brochures. The most popular National Parks tours with nearly every company have sold out for 2017 from Mid-June through October, including the National Parks tour that Free Spirit was offering at the end of April.

Princess has a promotion on select voyages with pre-paid gratuities, as does Holland America. Many of the cruise lines have raised their gratuities to $13.50 to $15 a day per person, so a nice perk. Still some availability on river cruises for late summer and fall. Call Jeanette at 602-909-2000 for all your travel needs.
