Do you own an RV? You might enjoy being a member of the Sun Lakes Roadrunners RV Club. We meet the second Tuesday of each month except December and the summer months. Annual dues are only $20.00 per person. This group has a great time together while traveling in our RVs.

Our first rally of this season will be in October attending the Albuquerque Balloon Fiesta. Wagon Masters do a great job planning activities for rally attendees, and this one will not be different. The group will be attending competition balloon flying events, special shape balloon events and a Night Magic Balloon Glow which is followed by a Laser Light and Fireworks show. The Wagon Masters will also be serving a chili dinner, pancake breakfast, morning sweets and happy hour snacks. Everyone is looking forward to this trip.

Upcoming rallies are planned for November in Eloy, AZ, where some members will participate in a skydiving adventure while others may choose to take a trip in the wind tunnel. In 2019, we plan to visit Laughlin, NV, Durango, CO, and the EAA AirVenture convention in Oshkosh, WI.

Besides rallies, we plan other social events such as a holiday dinner dance and spring fling picnic. The next Roadrunners meeting will be Tuesday, October 9, at 6:30 p.m. in the Navajo Room, Sun Lakes CC. On November 13, we will be hosting our welcome back and rally planning meeting. All prospective members and guests are always welcome at each and every meeting. Come check out what we have in store for the coming RV season.
