Mark your calendar for our popular spring event – the Ice Cream Social! Okay, we know Christmas just went by! But we have lots of planning to do to make sure that all the cookies are baked and the ice cream is made and the syrups are ready! Takes time, you know.

So Saturday, March 28 for this event is on the calendar. We have always held our social on Sunday, but we eat ice cream on Saturday too!

Why do we do this? We have lots of items on our bucket list. We need funds for our scholarships to deserving Boys and Girls Club students, our annual turkey and ham distribution to the Boys and Girls Club families and St. Peter’s Mission, American Service Animal Society, Neighbors Who Care, etc.

This past year we delivered 200 turkeys and hams to the East Valley Boys and Girls Club families and St. Peter’s Mission School.

We supported our wounded veterans by funding the American Service Animal Society, an organization that trains dogs for the wounded service men and women. This organization is building a new facility in Gilbert.

Sun Lakes Charities, a non-profit organization, is very proud to give back to the East Valley community through many needed avenues.
