Congratulations are in order for our very own Sun Lakes Community Theatre upon receiving our first competitive grant, the Community Investment Grant, from the Arizona Commission of the Arts. The grant will provide $5,000 to support theatrical productions, presentations and educational programs within SLCT.

The highly-competitive Community Investment Grants are awarded to arts organizations that provide evidence of quality programming, fiscal ingenuity and responsible stewardship of public funds. Through our programming and services, SLCT has demonstrated a strong commitment to community service, offering unique programs and services that create opportunities for all Sun Lakes residents, neighboring schools and communities, civic organizations and businesses to experience and enjoy theatre. SLCT is honored to receive this prestigious grant award made possible by many years of hard work and dedication to theatrical arts by our enthusiastic members, volunteers, Boards of Directors and audiences!
