Sandra Givens, Sun Lakes resident and author, has just released her new book, Running Horse Ranch, available on Amazon as a paperback or in the Kindle format.

This book is about a young woman’s desire to find true love and happiness. Readers will feel for the protaganist who is stuck in a marriage full of deceit and abuse, readers will feel for the protagonist and be interested to see what happens when she finally finds her way out and has a chance to begin again.

Givens is a writer who has been published in newspapers, magazines and a poetry anthology. Most recently, she has focused on travel writing, and her articles and photographs have appeared in The Arizona Republic.

She began her writing career in the healthcare field where she wrote news releases, brochures and newsletters for which she received the IABC (International Association of Business Communicators) Award of Excellence. As a volunteer, she wrote news releases and articles for East Valley Hospice in Arizona. A native Californian, Givens has traveled extensively and now lives in Arizona.
