On March 29, 2020, in Cottonwood’s San Tan Ballroom, enjoy an AZ Favorite Band of Rags Allen featuring well-known musicians. Rags Allen on piano/keyboard is a member of the “Arizona Nightclub Performers Hall of Fame.” Rags has performed with Waylon Jennings, Willie Nelson, Charlie Pride, and Mickey Gilley in venues at the MGM Grand and the Grand Ol’ Opry. Chuck Bene, guitarist, is a member of the “Rockabilly Hall of Fame” and wrote music for Ricky Nelson and the Hullabaloo TV Show. Roy Calhoun, drummer, played alongside Wayne Newton, Eddie Arnold, Julie London, Phil Harris, John Davidson, and many others. Mark Webb is the lead singer who was named “Vocalist of the Year” by the Phoenix Country Music Club.

Doors open at 5 p.m. with music and dance from 6 to 9 p.m. Cottonwood dinner menu is available from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. for those wishing to have dinner. Admission is $12 per person. For our ballroom dancers, enjoy your favorite waltz, foxtrot, quickstep, rumba, cha cha, samba, tango, country, or line Dance. For non-dancers, come and enjoy the great music and dinner while watching some great dancing. This evening is presented by the Sun Lakes Sunday Dance Club.
