Featured Image: Gilded Flicker, by Tom Jones, was praised with Projected Image Photograph of the Year, Class C. Tom captured this beauty from the comfort of his home. Blessed with the Phoenix South Mountain Preserve as Tom’s backyard, the gilded flicker is a frequent visitor amongst other desert wildlife. Tom hand held his Nikon D500 with Nikkor 200-500mm lens set to f/5.6, 1/4000s, ISO 640, 500mm and VR on. Congratulations, Tom.
