The fellas were picking at their guitar strings while warming up a very receptive crowd with road stories. As they were rehearsing melodies the crowd was growing anxious in the anticipation of the performance. It was just another day at the Perfect Place until we spotted Rich and the Boys come through the door. The blue grass band is no stranger to the Valley area having volunteered and performed for many years. Their personalized performance was a big hit!

The boys, whose professional name is Dry Heat Pickers, entertained our seniors at The Perfect Place located on the campus of Risen Savior Lutheran Church in Sun Lakes. We are a non-profit faith based adult care center. Our volunteers are knowledgeable of Alzheimer’s, dementia, developmental disabilities and various adult neurological challenges. Most of us have had a loved one for whom we were a caregiver. We enjoy what we do.
