The new unit co-captains for units 27 and 27A in Ironwood are Denise and Dave Lott. All homeowners should have received one of the following: an e-mail, telephone call, or letter to introduce ourselves. We are hoping to create an updated list of unit neighbors. If you have not yet responded to let us know we have your current contact information, please e-mail [email protected] or call Denise at 480-273-5597.

If we have your e-mail address, you will already have received two of our monthly newsletters. These will contain information on any planned social activity for that month, plus a brief summary from the monthly captain meeting highlighting information of particular interest to our section of Ironwood.

Our first activity as captains was to host an Open House/Meet and Greet at our home in September so that we could get to know our group and so that neighbors could mingle. A second one was scheduled for October to accommodate those who could not make it the first time.

In November we plan a luncheon. Please check your e-mail newsletter for details, or ask a neighbor for the information if you do not have access to e-mail.

Welcome back to our returning homeowners and welcome to all our new homeowners. Looking forward to meeting you.

A few important notes:

The annual Budget Review Meeting will be held in the Oakwood Library on Friday, November 6 at 1:00 p.m. All homeowners are encouraged to attend.

Board meetings for 2015:

Wednesday, November 18; Wednesday, December 16. Both meetings are held in the Oakwood Clubhouse and begin at 4:00 p.m.

We will have our annual Holiday Party after the December 16 Board meeting. We will not have a Second Wednesday Social in December as the date is so close to our planned holiday party.

Our November Second Wednesday Social for November will be held November 11 at 4:00 p.m. in the Oakwood Lounge. We are always looking for homeowners to volunteer to be greeters.

We now have our own website, www.villas37.org. This site has a great deal of information including the procedure in requesting any maintenance needed by our Maintenance Manager David Jacobsen. For those who do not have e-mail, continue to use the drop site located on Carefree Way.

As always, please watch your speed. We have a lot of walkers in our community. Also, those with pets should be courteous and clean up after them.
