It is beginning to look and feel like spring! No snow for us.

A few reminders for up-coming events:

Monday, March 29 we will be having our second annual Spring Party Potluck at the Poolside Café. It will be held from 1:00-3:00 p.m. Flyers with more details are at the Oakwood Clubhouse. We will also be delivering copies to each unit.

We plan on continuing our Second Wednesday Social for March and April. Fall dates will be announced later. They all start at 4:00 p.m. at the Oakwood lounge. I have a greeter for March and am looking for someone interested in handling April.

Property Image and Landscaping Committee – As many homeowners may be aware, a recent meeting of the Board of Directors approved the creation of a Property Image and Landscaping Committee. This committee, with Doug Schmunk as the Chairperson, will be responsible for reviewing the current Rules and Regulations as well as surveying existing curb side landscaping and plant choices with a view to providing recommendations to the Board for potential improvements and/or enhancements. The committee will be holding a number of open meetings at the Oakwood Clubhouse. The meetings will be held in February and will continue into March. Homeowners will be made aware of these meetings through e-mail notices as well as postings on the bulletin board at the Oakwood Clubhouse. Our homeowners meetings for 2015 are scheduled as follows:

Wednesday, March 18; Wednesday, November 18; and Wednesday, December 16. All meetings begin at 4:00 p.m. and are held in the Oakwood Clubhouse.

Again, a reminder- watch your speed! We have walkers, bicyclists and people walking their pets. Be aware of your surroundings as you back out of your driveway.
