The Sun Lakes Mobile Food Program is now offering twice-monthly food box pick-ups, providing essential groceries and supplies to residents in need within the Sun Lakes community and surrounding areas. Embracing the motto “Where Neighbors Help Neighbors,” this initiative supports members of retirement communities who are facing financial, physical, or mental health challenges. Residents who are unable to leave their home can apply to receive home delivery services.
Food and Supplies Sourced Locally
While our program is approved by a local food bank, they do not have the staff to support us at this time, and donations are solely from private donations. Our program sources food and supplies from generous donations within our local communities, ensuring that we can offer fresh and needed items to those in need. Residents fleeing the summer heat have donated much-needed toiletries, cleaning supplies, and food prior to their departure. We are deeply grateful to our donors and volunteers for their continued support and dedication to our mission.
Convenient Drop-Off Locations
To make donations as convenient as possible, we have established three drop-off locations in Sun Lakes:
1. Sun Lakes Community Church Center, outside location (24 hours). Address: 25811 S. Country Club Drive, Sun Lakes, Ariz.
2. Sun Lakes Phase 1 HOA Office. Address: 25601 S. Sun Lakes Blvd., Sun Lakes, Ariz.
3. Mulligans. Address: 25425 S. Sun Lakes Blvd., Sun Lakes, Ariz.

We need your help! We invite all community members to participate in this noble cause by donating non-perishable food items, household supplies, toiletries, time, and monetary contributions (please do not leave money in collection boxes).
