The play will be presented by a new group sponsored by Sun Lakes Jewish Community to provide entertainment and camaraderie: “LAFF”—Laughter And Friendship Forever! (Bringing Laughter and Friendship to Our Interfaith Community!)
Auditions for the hysterically funny original musical comedy, The Family Tree, an interfaith production, will be held on Sunday, Oct. 13, from 2 to 5 p.m. in the Chapel Center, 9230 E. Sun Lakes Blvd.
We are inviting all who live in Sun Lakes and nearby communities who are interested in acting, singing, dancing, or piano accompaniment to audition and join us for an afternoon of laughter and camaraderie!
Not a performer? We also need people who’d enjoy participating in non-performing ways, such as tech and crew areas of lighting, sound, and teleprompter, as well as with costumes, set design, and stage and “green room” assistants.
There will be nothing to memorize! There will be something for all who are interested in participating to do!
Talent is always great, but having fun and laughing together is what this is all about!
Performance dates: March 29 and 30 and April 5 and 6 in the ballroom (Arizona Room) at Sun Lakes Country Club. Rehearsals will be scheduled mostly on Sunday afternoons.
