The Sun Lakes Republican Club (SLRC) would like to provide this courtesy notice to our members, regular guests, and friends that there will be no meeting on Dec. 11. Instead, we will be enjoying a delicious prime rib dinner, celebrating, and dancing to the fabulous live music of entertainer Harry Mathews at our American Christmas Dinner Dance, which has been completely sold out since late October. We are deeply sorry if you were hoping to purchase a last-minute ticket, but no tickets will be sold at the door. If you have specific questions about your previously purchased dinner/dance tickets, you may email our SLRC secretary at [email protected]. Sorry, no refunds.
We wish you all a very Merry Christmas and Happy Hanukkah and pray you have safe travels if you will be spending the holiday season with loved ones away from Sun Lakes! We also congratulate all our newly elected public servants and offer our condolences to those candidates who lost the election they sought to win. At press time, more than 500,000 Maricopa County election ballots still had not been counted, and many races were not determined.
Please save the date now for our first regular meeting in 2025, which will feature “Our Financial Times: Past, Present, and Future” with guest speaker Keith DeGreen, Esq., on Wednesday, Jan. 8, from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. in the Navajo Room of the Sun Lakes Country Club, 25601 S. Sun Lakes Blvd., Sun Lakes. The public is invited! Our mission is “education for an informed electorate.”
