Our luncheon event was a lot of fun, with special rules for our golf game where every hole had a different rule to follow, like putting backwards between our legs, etc. This was followed by a delicious lunch of beef dip, Caesar salad, and cheesecake. Door prizes were drawn, and pins for chip-ins and birdies were given out. The contest for ugliest sweater was judged, with two clear winners: Mary Swanson and Kathy Murdock.
This year’s league has come to an end, and some positions will be taken over by new officers on Jan. 1. I hope everyone has registered for the new year, as the early registration discount came to an end on Dec. 15. If you didn’t register but would love to try golfing with a fun league, please consider Ironwood Lady Niners. We’d love to meet you. See you in 2025!
