Did you know?

• The first ladies team began play in 1995 and was managed by Will Caton and Artie Wachter.

• Karen Kenyon became manager in 2001 and continued to lead the team through the 2011 season.

• The husband-wife duo of Henry and Charlene Ellis then led the team for several years until the current manager, Terry Finley, took over. Terry is ably assisted by Coach Scott Steinmann.

• The team was originally called the Sun Lakes Swingers. They changed their name to the Sluggers in 2012.

• The two top teams (so far!) have been the 2009 team, who led the league with a 20-4 record, and the league-leading 2012 team who finished with a 21-5 record.
