From The President
From the board of directors, our management staff, and all our employees, we wish you a Happy New Year for 2024! This is a wonderful time of the year when we reflect on all the good things that we have experienced during the past year as neighbors, friends, and families!
It’s a time of new beginnings, and many of us will make New Year’s resolutions. Some will commit to losing weight, some will commit to living a healthier lifestyle, some will commit to being kinder, gentler souls, and some will commit to nothing at all so that they won’t be disappointed when they don’t achieve their goals!
It’s the busiest time of year in our Association, with most folks here for the winter. Our facilities and amenities are in full use as we celebrate our active adult lifestyle. We encourage you to take advantage of all the programs offered through our clubs and maybe even try out a new sport or activity.
With everything you do and with everyone you share time with this holiday, we wish you a healthy and safe year here in beautiful Sun Lakes.
Safety Day – January 13
Safety Day will be presented by the Cottonwood Palo Verde HOA2 Safety and Security Committee, which will occur on Saturday, Jan. 13, from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. and will be held in the San Tan Ballroom at the Cottonwood Country Club located at 25630 S. Brentwood Drive. The event is open to all homeowners within the Sun Lakes communities.
This important event will highlight many different ways that our residents can be safer and more secure within our community. Homeowners can listen to speakers from several different organizations, including the Maricopa County Sheriff’s Department and the Arizona Fire & Medical Authority.
Homeowners can also visit with vendors at their tables. They will highlight how their organizations can assist these homeowners with their safety and security. Local businesses will be donating items such as gift cards and restaurant discounts. These items will be raffled off to homeowners at different times during the event.
We encourage all homeowners to come and join us at Safety Day. It will be informative and fun for all!
