Following our November class with 56 members (largest class ever), which covered the exciting new features of iOS 17, on Dec. 4 at 1 p.m., we will hold a class on Passwords and Password Management. Are you frequently forgetting passwords? Do you keep a “little black book” of passwords? Or a “big black book”? Do you feel insecure with the protection of information on your Apple device? If so, this class is for you! We will explain a simple and secure process that protects your information without your needing to record passwords. We will cover security recommendations, password options, sharing of passwords, pass keys, and more. Space is limited, so RSVP at www.sunlakesappleclub.com/classes-and-events if you want to join us.
Our Jan. 8, 2024, class will be on the Apple Watch and will introduce you to the key features of this smartwatch. In addition to the basic features of making phone calls, sending text messages, and reading email, the Apple Watch is an essential assist in monitoring our health as we age. Some key health features are fall detection, sleep pattern monitoring, heart rate monitoring, step counting, fitness tracking, and spatial detection. If you are new to the Apple Watch or are considering owning one, this class is for you. Join us and register for the class at the above link.
We are a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization (EIN Tax ID 92-2120049). As such, we do accept charitable donations, but we remain a no-fee club, and we intend to remain so. We do not charge for classes, nor is there any annual fee. Our club’s mission is to provide a forum that is educational, supportive, and fun—where we can all learn to get the most from our Apple devices, regardless of our knowledge level.
