During these record-breaking temperatures, we fondly look forward to the fall when we can get back on the bocce ball courts and see new and old friends.
The Sun Lakes Bocce Ball Club 2024-25 season kicks off on Oct. 27 at our Wine & Cheese event at Sisk Park, located in the Palo Verde community.
Any Sun Lakes resident interested in participating in bocce ball for the 2024-25 season can learn more about the club by going to our club’s website, www.sunlakesbocceclub.com. Registration for the 2024-25 season opens on Sept. 1. Please see the registration page for details about the next season.
In the meantime, during the heat of the summer, enjoy bocce ball in the evenings under the beautifully lit courts at Sisk Park. It’s a great opportunity for family fun while teaching the younger ones the fundamentals of bocce ball and creating great memories.
Anyone can access “How to Play” rules on the club’s website, www.sunlakesbocceclub.com, and refer to the section on “Rules of the Game” to become familiar with the rules prior to heading to the courts. You can also print a copy and bring it along with you to refer to as you play the game.
New players to the game, or those who require instruction, can request lessons by our Training Committee by emailing to the attention of the membership director at [email protected].
