Crafting Together Series
Oct. 17 and 24
Join us for a unique craft! Each session provides an opportunity to create something new. Learn a new activity while you engage with the community, relax, and have fun. All skill levels are welcome, and all materials are provided as we enjoy crafting together!
This month’s all-ages craft: Sand Art (Oct. 17 at 10 a.m.)

Book and a Craft
Oct. 2 at 10 a.m.
Come to the library to learn new rhymes, read fun books, and learn new literacy skills that you can practice at home! After the story, we will have a group craft or activity to do. Storytime is intended for families of all ages.
Candy Sushi
Oct. 5 at 1 p.m.
Get in the Halloween spirit by making some unique candy treats that look like sushi but taste even better! All supplies will be provided for you to make your sushi snack.
Recipe Swap
Oct. 7 at 10 a.m.
Join us once a month to share and swap recipes! During this time, you are encouraged to share stories about your favorite recipes. Participants will be provided with a Robson recipe book where you can add the new recipes you receive. Please bring a copy of the recipe you want to share so we can create and pass out copies.
Arizona Paranormal Investigations Presentation
Oct. 10 at 1 p.m.
Come learn about the most haunted locations in Arizona! We’ll learn about each location, evidence collected, and the tools used to collect evidence.
Book Club is My Alibi
Oct. 11 at 3 p.m.
Join us at our Mystery Book Club! Every month we will be discussing a new contemporary mystery. Copies of our next book will be distributed at the end of the meeting.
Reader’s Rendezvous
Oct. 14 at 10 a.m.
Join fellow readers once a month to talk about what you’re reading! This will be a book club-style discussion but with no required title to read. Discuss what you love to read, share some recommendations, and leave with new titles to read!
Workshop Writing: Memories About the Seasons of the Year

Memories about the seasons of the year vary depending on where we lived at the time. In this workshop, we’ll talk about our experiences with the seasons and compare them with others’ experiences.
Genealogy Workshop

20th Anniversary Celebration of the Library!

Join the Maricopa County Library District and the Friends of the Library as we celebrate two decades of serving our community with a day full of fun and festivities! Register for one of the concerts and enjoy the beautiful performances throughout the day

Teachin’ Tech

Teachin’ Tech is a monthly class that teaches you how to use and operate computers, tablets, or other digital devices! Each session will cover a topic such as how to navigate the web, how to sign up for an email, or how to stay safe online. This program is intended for those who are new to the digital world, but anyone is welcome to attend. Please note: This program is not for individualized tech help.
Sourdough 101
Oct. 23 at 2 p.m.
This sourdough class for beginners is a crash course for those wishing to dive into making a sourdough starter, with tips on how to care for it and a simple recipe to start. All supplies will be provided. Come learn about sourdough and leave with your own starter to begin your sourdough journey!
The Ed Robson Film Society
Oct. 25 at 2:30 p.m.
The Ed Robson Film Society is a new program series based around watching and discussing relevant and important films from around the world. This month’s film will be The American Scream (2012). Following the screening, we will have a book club-style discussion based around the film.
Digital Resources Presentation
Oct. 28 at 10 a.m.
Library staff will review the library’s electronic resources. We will cover Libby, Hoopla, Kanopy, and Freegal. Feel free to bring your device so we can help you get set up with our electronic resources!
