Lions Club International is made up of 1.4 million members in 49,000 clubs who bring hands and hearts to the communities in nearly every country on earth. Lions and Leos help hundreds of millions of people every year.
The Lions Clubs International Foundation (LCIF) is the official charitable organization of Lions Club International. LCIF was founded in 1968 with a mission to empower Lions clubs, volunteers, and partners. Their goal is to improve health and well-being, strengthen communities, and support those in need through humanitarian services and grants that impact lives globally. LCIF focuses on areas such as preventing avoidable blindness, youth development, disaster relief, and humanitarian efforts. By providing fundings through grants, LCIF assists Lions districts with large-scale projects.
