Last spring, we introduced short court tennis as an innovative addition to our club offerings. To gauge interest, we opened our courts to all Cottonwood homeowners during club hours (Monday mornings at 7 a.m.) throughout the summer. We’re thrilled to report that this experiment was a resounding success! More than 100 residents purchased short court tennis paddles, and our courts were frequently at capacity during designated short court tennis times.
Our last open session was on Aug. 26 when this temporary promotion concluded. However, the enthusiasm for this new tennis variant doesn’t have to end! The Cottonwood Tennis Club will continue to allocate specific times for short court tennis throughout the fall and winter seasons. In addition, we will continue to offer short court tennis on Thursday nights at 7 p.m. for all homeowners (paddles and balls will be available).
