The IronOaks Breakers Pool League is happy to welcome back our winter visitors with a tournament. Sign-ups for the tournament will begin on Oct. 14, and play will begin on Nov. 1, with playoffs for the championship taking place during the week of Dec. 2.
Hopefully, by then, our four state-of-the-art Olhausen tables will have brand-new cloth on them and there will be new carpet in the Pool Room.
The league meets on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays for organized play, and all residents of IronOaks are welcome to become a league member. Come check us out at any of the play sessions. Game managers and members will be happy to answer questions, and if you’d like, you can join the play session as a guest.
The annual IronOaks Activities Open House will be held on Saturday, Oct. 26, in the Oakwood ballroom. Many of the HOA groups, clubs, and organizations will have a booth at this event. The Breakers Pool League will be participating, and interested pool players (of all skill levels) will be welcome to stop by and chat with some league members.
Are you a “sometimes” pool player and are tired of missing so many shots? This is a nemesis affecting all pool players. If interested, a sign-up sheet will be available for a complimentary 15-minute “coaching session.” A league member will provide guidance on how to improve your aiming results.
