After a total of 289 elimination games, the IronOaks Breakers Pool League has a new 9-Ball Champion. The games were played over a total of four weeks, and on Feb. 23 Terry Proctor and Sonny Williams played for the championship.
The championship match was a race to seven games (the first person to win seven games wins the championship). It was a tough match where the lead changed several times, with the score tied at six games each going into the final and deciding game. Sonny Williams won with a final score of 7 to 6. Congratulations, Sonny!
Congratulations to Terry Proctor for his second place and for competing in a fine tournament.
Our next tournament will be an 8-Ball tournament and is currently in progress.
There were 1,696 organized league pool games played in February of 2024, with 3,340 games year to date. It should be noted that this information excludes guests of league members at league games, the IronOaks Ladies Pool League (who have organized play Monday and Tuesday mornings), non-member IronOaks resident play at any time, and Breakers’ tournaments.
The IronOaks Breakers Pool League is always looking for new members who love to shoot pool and enjoy good competition with others who share a love of the game. Players of all skill levels are welcome to join.
