Colette McNally
Wade Wampler joined Sun Lakes Rotary in 2005 and since then he has dedicated himself to supporting the various programs and service activities performed by the club members. One of the ones he is most dedicated to is the delivery of the Splash which he has done without fail for a number of years. This is a very important source of income for our club and brings together a group of dedicated Rotarians who collect, package and deliver the newspapers throughout the community. He is also one of those who give generously of their time to the Dictionary Project and contributes a lot of time and energy making our Pancake Breakfast a great success.
Members like Wade are always ready and willing to go the extra mile and promote service above self whenever they are called on. Today we honor such people in the person of Wade.
Before joining Rotary, Wade served for seven years as a member of the Lions Club in Xenia, Ohio.
Wade holds an M.S. in Dental Sciences and Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. He and his wife, Betty Renee, have three children and five grandchildren and they are members of Risen Savior Lutheran Church. Wade served in the US Air Force with 25 years of active duty and seven years as a Reserve.
Thanks, Wade, for all you do for Rotary and our community.
