The Computer Booters meeting on Wednesday, Feb. 8, will be about Jitsi Meet, which is a free, opensource, online video conferencing application, much like Zoom, but without the fees or time restrictions. If you have taken part in our Tech Tuesdays feature, then you have had your first taste of Jitsi Meet. Join us for this demonstration of Jitsi Meet and discover how you can use it to have online meetings with family, friends, and any of your other groups. We will also demonstrate how to log in to our members-only section of computerbooters.org to participate in our Tech Tuesday meetings.
Social time starts at 12:30 p.m. with the meeting beginning at 1 p.m. The meeting will be in the Cottonwood Computer Learning Center building. Members and first-time guests will be eligible for door prizes. The meeting will also be available via Zoom.
The workshop on Wednesday, Feb. 15, will have a Question and Answer format and some one-on-one help if needed. The workshop will begin at 6:30 p.m. in the Computer Learning Center’s Phoenix Room. People may come at 6 p.m., before the start of the meeting, if they want to meet and get to know fellow club members.
More information and help is available in the newsletter and on our website, computerbooters.org. For more information, contact Jeff Ingersoll at [email protected].
