The Sun Lakes Lions Club just presented local awards for the 2021 Lions Peace Poster celebration.
Due to COVID-19, we did not have a Peace Poster Contest in 2020.
This year, we did receive posters from four schools in the Chandler Unified School District.
The winner was Brenna Johnson, a 6th grade student from Riggs Elementary.
Previously, our Lions Club hosted a donation of food products to our AZCEND group for delivery to needy families in the Chandler area. In addition, 100% of donations to the Lions go to help the blind, buy hearing aids, and support medical missions around the world.
