Sam Gilman and Jerry Cisneros are the Lucky Shot Pool Club 2013-14 Championship tournament winners. In 9-Ball, Gilman, winter tournament winner, defeated Jack Hill, spring tournament winner, 7-4 and Tony Mongiello, fall tournament winner, 7-4. Hill defeated Mongiello, 7-5 for second place. Mongiello finished third.
Cisneros became the first club player ever to win the fall, winter and spring 8-Ball tournaments and was automatically declared 2013-14 Championship tournament winner.
Competition is now underway in the club’s first summer tourney which ends July 10. Memberships are available for the club’s second summer tournament, running from August 1 to September 10. New members also may sign up for the 2014-15 tournament season at the Cottonwood Country Club’s Open House or the club’s fall sign-up meeting, both in October.
