Bill McCoach is another new member who joined Sun Lakes Rotary in February this year. But Bill is no newcomer to Rotary International. Bill served as Assistant District Governor, President and Sergeant-at-Arms in Cambridge, Ohio before joining our club. Bill got right to work taking on an important task as he guides us through our strategic planning and taking on the role of President Elect. Bill also fills in as Sergeant-at-Arms entertaining us regularly with his great sense of humor at least once a month. Bill also took on the role of social director, planning and preparing our social events, such as the welcome back picnic in the fall and our Christmas Party, which we all look forward to.
Bill has three children and received his MBA from the University of Chicago. He spent his career as chief financial officer to private companies specializing in corporate planning with Fortune 500 companies. He also spent time as a mechanical engineer. In his free time he volunteered with, among others, the East Muskingum Student Endowment Fund as a trustee and treasurer, John Glenn Historic Site trustee, YMCA trustee and village councilman and with his church.
Thanks Bill for your great spirit of service. We appreciate all you are doing to move our club forward and for supporting all our projects and programs.
